May I ask for some help?

I’m not sure if this will work, but I hope I can rely on the kindness of strangers in a crucial time of need. My name’s Rory, I live in Georgia (the state), and I need a place of my own.

Earlier this month, I learned my parents are selling the house we live in and are planning on moving to Florida. They can no longer afford to take care of me because they have a compulsive gambling problem, and a lot of my money has already gone into that (including part of my college fund). 

In short, I’m getting thrown out. Recently, things have also gotten violent between my mother and I, which isn’t a new occurrence, but it’s still not the best situation.

I am unemployed, but job searching with previous job experience. Unfortunately, I have less than $100 to my name aside from money set aside from what little remains of my college tuition, and with commissions being an unlikely source of income for me, I’m hoping the kindness of some strangers along with a job in the near future will be able to help me get out on my own, even if all I end up doing is buying a bus ticket and getting the heck out of here.

I am more than happy to offer art, writing, and even musical composition. My parents are looking to sell the house by May and I will probably have until August of this year to get myself somewhere else. At the very least, I have close friends I can rely on to give me a bed to sleep in at night, but I would like to be able to support myself on my own so I don’t get stuck in an endless financial loop like I’ve been stuck in for the past year.
